TEMPLATES
Refunds
Due to the digital nature of my templates, refunds are not given once emailed to you. If the product has been paid for but not yet emailed, I will happily refund your money.
Program Compatibility
By purchasing my templates, you are agreeing that you have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or higher or Photoshop Elements. These cannot be modified within any other program. They are all 300 dpi, layered .psd files.
Payments
All payments are accepted via PayPal only. I accept not only PayPal payments through them, but credit cards as well. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card. Once payment is received by me, you will receive your templates via email within 48 hours. Be sure to include an email address in your payment, and also be sure to include which templates you are purchasing as I sell many types.
Miscellaneous
Templates are not to be sold, reproduced, given away or altered beyond their original design in any way. If you do, I will hunt you down. Not really, but it sounded good. Just stay honest, that’s all I ask!
Other
Be aware that templates will not come with filler images, or with filler logos seen on the online samples. Also, text in the templates is there as a placeholder and is written in Latin (dummy text). It is there to simply type over and replace with your own.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Refunds
Due to the custom nature of graphic design, refunds are not given once the work has begun due to time already invested in the design. Under no circumstances will I refund someone when they decide to change their mind from what their questionnaire states, or after concepts have been sent. Like anyone else, I do not work for free.
Payments
All payments are accepted via PayPal only and must be paid in full before work will begin (with the exception of The Whole Cactus). I do not invoice in arrears. I accept PayPal payment and credit cards through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card. Once payment is received, you will then be sent a link to the logo questionnaire that will help guide me in the process.
Waiting Lists
Oftentimes I have a waiting list that could put my next start date weeks away. If this is the case, I will let you know in advance. Bear in mind that there is a timeframe for the design process as well, so you understand that (for instance) there could be a 2 week wait to get started, and then a 2 week design process turnaround. This would mean your project would be completed within 4 weeks. (Again, this is just an example)
Turnaround
Design is a creative process and turnaround times can often be hard to predict. Turnaround can be 2 days, 2 weeks or even 2 months and depends on the project and the ease of communication. I try to complete all projects within 3-4 weeks, but I cannot guarantee a specific timeframe. Please be patient and check in with me if you have any questions or concerns.
Delivery
All logo files will be delivered via email as a vector file (Adobe Illustrator .ai file), and any other file types you desire (.pdf, .jpg, .eps, etc.). My photographer clients will also receive their logo as a layered raster file (Adobe Photoshop .psd) along with the file types mentioned previously. If you would also like the files mailed to you on a CD, I would be happy to do that as well.
GENERAL
Ownership
Chocolate Cactus Designs/Jodi Bell owns the copyright to all custom designs (logos, collateral, etc.) and the clients own a license to use these designs. Because of this, the client is not allowed to alter or modify the logo and/or design(s) in any way that would make it unrecognizable from it’s original form. Chocolate Cactus Designs reserves the right to renegotiate licensing terms and policies at any time without notice. If you wish to purchase full copyright on any of these designs (logo or otherwise), please contact me for an estimate on cost.
